2000 accord lx 5 spd

Just bought a nice 2000 Accord 5spd w 61000 miles. No owner's manual; looking for a chiltons as well.

Have your car's VIN so you can register.

Chilton or Haynes repair manuals are sorta OK if you just want to be knowledgable when talking with your mechanic. Or if you want to do a few simple maintenance things.

If you want to do all your own work,they're a bit lacking.I think it's worth the extra (llike x3) money for a Helm book.

Do NOT waste your moneyon a Chilton's. Buy a Haynes if you want basic maintenance help, but for the most part you will need a Helm for the best help. I bought a Chilton and wished I hadn't. Then I bought a Haynes and it is OK. I still want a Helm, but I haven't wanted to fork over the $80 or so they cost.
