Chilton or Haynes repair manuals are sorta OK if you just want to be knowledgable when talking with your mechanic. Or if you want to do a few simple maintenance things.
If you want to do all your own work,they're a bit lacking.I think it's worth the extra (llike x3) money for a Helm book.

Do NOT waste your moneyon a Chilton's. Buy a Haynes if you want basic maintenance help, but for the most part you will need a Helm for the best help. I bought a Chilton and wished I hadn't. Then I bought a Haynes and it is OK. I still want a Helm, but I haven't wanted to fork over the $80 or so they cost.
