2000 auto jerks when accellerating after rolling stop
When I drive my 2000 Accord, the automatic transmissionjerks when I accellerate after a rolling stop. It seems like the transmission is just slow downshifting, like it might have a sticky shift valve or something. It has 140,000 miles, I bought it used 10,000 miles ago & changed fluid (3-quarts) twice,as it wasdiscolored. I don't know the service history. The jerkinessseems to be getting worse. I saw a post that suggested using a product called "Lube Gard" or something similar for this. I would like another opinion. I'm hoping to get another 60,000+ miles out of the car.

I had the same problem before and I went to the dealer and they said it was a recall. Honda extended the warranty for 109,000 miles or 7 years. Too bad youre out of warranty. They replaced my whole transmission with a new one for free, and it now drives great!! Good luck!!
