2000 honda accord help please fuel injectors
i have a 2000 honda accord v6 3.0 ex. for awhile now when i ran the car to low on gas it would have problems starting but it would always push the sludge though and work fine. well yesterday it happened and it took awhile to push the sludge through but when it finally did now im having misfires. im guessing that some of the injectors are free now and some are still clogged and thats whats causing the misfires. if anyone has suggestions on what i should check or what i should do it would help me alot. when its started it idles really low almost shutting off at times. like i said im pretty sure i know what the problem is but i really dont wanna take the head apart to get to the fuel injectors is there anything else i can do? i already used some stp fuel injector cleaner thats supposed to unclogg it but i guess it was to much this time.

i checked the codes said i had misfires in 1,2,3,5,6 cylinders so i figured it was when they were getting unclogged they all probably misfired so i reset the code drove a bet and went back to check code. i got a code that said misfire in any cylinder code was p1399

You really should not try to run the car low on gas and definitely do not run the car out of gas.
There is a filter on the fuel pump that should remove the particles, but may get clogged up if your tank has a bunch of crap at the bottom.
Gas flowing though the fuel pump acts as both a lubricant and coolant.

have you checked for spark? What makes you think of fuel issues right away?
It is possible the fuel filter is clogged. But gas these days is very clean. When I pulled my pump out of the tank after 160k the filter looked fine. There was no debris in the tank either, I'd imagine yours is probably the same. However its not a bad idea to check the filter and rail pressure.
I doubt its your injectors because you would have noticed it start missing on one or two cylinders before they all missed. Something else is wrong here.
