Default 2000 honda accord 3000RPM hesitation issue...anyone know whats wrong?

my fiancee's car is having a hesitation issue at 3000rpm when you give it gas....the car runs perfect until it gets hot....running it for about 45 minutes...and all of a sudden when u give it gas...it does what is shown in this video. Does anyone have any idea what the problem is...2 mechanics have worked on the problem 1 which couldn't fix the problem and another who is working on it currently. The car has had a new crank angle sensor installed and distributor but to no avail. maybe someone else has seen this problem and can help me out. Thanks in advance.

It should store the code, even when the CEL doesn't stay on.

Go to AutoZone or someplace like that; have em plug in their reader to read the error code. Get the actual code number (P1234 or whatever) not just the guy's explanation.

I have the same problem with a 1996 VTEC. No codes stored. It hesitates only when warm and only between 2000-2500 rpm. Any help is appreciated.

Have you looked at egr/egr port issues? Only when warm and in that rpm range suggests that could be the issue....
