2000 Honda Accord horn unreliable
I have a 2000 Accord LX and my horn doesn't necessarily work when I press down on it. Sometimes it does if I press hard enough, or find the right spot, or both. Does the horn switch on this car tend to develop a short in some predictable way? Is it something a home mechanic with some experience can fix reasonably given the airbag being there?
Thanks.
Thanks.

I would suggest buying the shop manual for your car. For $21.99 you can buy one from automanualsource.com as a pdf.
You probably will need to diagnose the problem before assuming it is the switch. There are other items that can cause the horn not to work like the relay, cable reel, the switch, or the wiring.
