Default 2000 Honda Accord manual tail lights, running lights, and dash lights don’t cone on

I have a 2000 Honda Accord ex manual. My head lights and turn signals work but my tail lights and running light quit working. Replaced mcu on drivers side, heard clicking when trying to turn lights on then clicking stopped and I saw some smoke. Smelled like electric burn. After that the lights quit working. Sounded like a relay but can’t find one for the tail and running lights.

Why did you replace the MICU? Were you having the taillight problem before the MICU was replaced?

I was having problem with this before and followed a thread. I replaced it and it seemed to take care of the problem but then I heard the clicking coming from the other side of the car and the lights went back out. I had installed an aftermarket radio and wired it with the dimmer. After I replaced the mcu I required the radio with only the trigger, power, ground, and speakers wired as to not blow the mcu again.
