I’ve got a P1259 code and changed the oil yesterday with no change in the code reading. I’d like to do some more troubleshooting, but I cannot find a good picture of just where this device is located. Depending on where it is, will determine if I can proceed. Thanks very much for any suggestions and tips!

Chapter 6-6 includes the DTC troubleshooting for P1259. DTC P1259: A problem in the VTEC Oil Pressure Switch circuit or VTEC Solenoid Valve circuit

The VTEC solenoid valve is part of the oil filter assembly. The VTEC solenoid valve filter/screen can be cleaned. See Chapter 6-9.
