I did point it out to them and they told me that there was no such a warranty on the seat belts. Do you know something which would convince them otherwise?

They also told me that, per Service Bulliten 06-009, the warranty on the side airbag supression system had been extended to ten years or 150,000 miles (which ever comes first).

Sounds like it's time for me to call Honda; stay tuned...

 

Call to American Honda update...

I was told in no uncertain terms that the seat belt buckle issue as it relates to the SRS light is an "electrical issue" and NOT covered by the seat belt warranty. The warranty on the electrical component of the seat belt buckle was three years or 36,000 miles, which ever came first.

Annoying.
