I am new here.

I purchased a Honda Accord 2001 last month and its been a freaking life after that. Had to replace Cat, Timing belt and yesterday I had a new Canister on it. After I got out of the stealership I have been listening to creaky sound when I am braking and leaving the brakes at slow speeds of 5-10mph. Any suggestions on possibilites of the issue and also Could changing the Canister play a role in this. I had it done at the same stealership. Waiting for your replies.

It has 121,500 miles on it and is a EX version.

 

I would remove the caliper pins and clean off the old grease. I would use some caliper grease from those packets you pick up at most parts stores.

 

I am planning to take it to the dealership tomorrow again and ask him about it. Since it wasnt there when I gave him the car yesterday. Thanks for the suggestion Pahonda.

Do you think it has anything to do with the replacement of the Canister since it is located at the same place I am getting the sound from ??
