2001 V6 hesitation
An obd2 scanner may reveal some sensor value that is perhaps off; Inlet Air Temp, Coolant Temp, etc.
Another explanation for this behavior is coolant leaking into the cylinder head when engine is shut down and missing on startup. I had this behavior on 94EX and head gasket leak was problem.
good luck

No evidence of coolant anywhere. I did recently change the coolant. I had the car scanned yesterday, and it has no codes. I put a heat gun on the TPS to see if I could recreate the problem without any luck. I also put a vacuum gauge on it and checked for vacuum leaks. So far, I'm coming up blank. Car drives fine all day long. It only hesitates within the first minute or so after a hot start. Feels like a lean surge to me.
