The wife and I tried out a 2002 accord se today with auto trans. Its got 82,000 miles and they are asking $7995 for it. Are there any know problems for this year and what is a fair price?

the 98-02 had known trans problems and extended warranty on the trans.
Here's a way to test them, first drive really slow so you stay in first gear [5mph] and let off the gas listen for a differential growl.
Hold the brake put the trans in neutral, raise the RPM up to 1500, and drop it into gear.
If it goes KeerBlam, bad trans.
What is the car worth? WHATEVER THE MARKET WILL BEAR.
