three weeks ago i ran out of gas in my 2002 accord v-6, since then the engine light comes on and the tcs light.had it checked at local parts store and the reader said it wasnt hitting on all cylinders.tried running a can of sea foam through it but still no help.it cranks to a very low idle,very rough.no power at all hardly when put in gear.the last time i ran low of fuel since this the low fuel warning didnt come on if that helps,any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

 

Consider having the fuel pressure measured. The gasoline cools & lubricates the pump, so maybe it overheated when it ran dry?? ($$$)

Other than that, you might try resetting the ECU & forcing it to re-learn the idle.

1) Pull fuse #13 in the right-end of the dashboard for several seconds. (Near the right-front door hinges.)
2) Let engine cool down completely.
3) Start the engine without touching the gas pedal.
4) Let it warm up by idling without touching the gas pedal.
