Default P0747 and P0751

On my 2006 Accord 3.0L I am getting both a P0747 Pressure Control Solenoid A Stuck On and P0751 Shift Solenoid A Performance Stuck Off codes. Putting the car in reverse almost does not engage but will very slowly as the rpm's go way up. I replaced the fluid filter and pulled off both solenoids that I could tell from other forums and tested those. Both appear to be working properly. It also looks like both of these are in line, electrically, with each other. Is this odd that it would call out two different solenoids at the same time or is there another problem that I should be looking at? I am also wondering if it may be a wire, but having a difficult time locating how to check the wiring path for these solenoids.

Was any work done on the car before the CEL turned on?

The last work that was completed was approximately 6 weeks ago which was an O2 bank 1 sensor. There is actually not a CEL light on at this time for the current problem, however, the codes show up on the scanner and come back after clearing.

The 2 components don't share the same wires. Each has a individual wire controlled by the PCM. How many wires go to the pressure control and the shift solenoid?

You may want to follow the wire harness back from both components to see if the plastic harness was worn due to vibration where you may have wires damaged? If the 2 components have 2 wires where one wire is a black wire, then you could have a bad ground connection as well.

I traced the wire from the double solenoid (I believe the shift solenoid a and b) Aside back to the main wire trunk connectors. This one happened to be a brown wire with a white stripe. I was able to get continuity with both the brown/white wire and the black ground to that point. it appears that after the three connector trunk(pardon my terminology) the harness goes into the firewall.

I put the air filter box, battery box, and battery back in and drove it approximately 5 miles. reverse is still sluggish, however, there are no codes showing up as of yet and still no CEL. They will perhaps show up again after a few more miles.

PA Honda - Thank you for the help
