I was in a similar several years ago. I tagged the tail end of a Utility Truck on a snowy day. The police ticketed the other driver for passing a RED light in front of me. His company said I was 50% at fault. I fought it because I had the Green light and the other driver got the ticket. The Judge agreed with the ins company, even with the other driver getting the ticket, I was still 50% at fault.
