Default 2003 Accord 3.0 V6 Power Steering Hose replacement procedure

The pressure hose is leaking and I have disconnected the hose at both ends. However, I have not been able to thread the hose out from the rear mount bracket. Is there is simple technique to doing this? Thanks! Gcmlfm

You can (very carefully) bend the metal part enough to get it through the mount. The procedure is to unbolt the mount, jack the engine up, and pull the hose out, but I managed to do it without removing the mount. Not easy, either way. Good luck.

Thank you. I'll give that a try and let you know.

Good news! I was able to get everything replaced and reconnected. It only took some minor bending. The only challenge was getting the flare fitting to line up properly in order to tighten it; however, it worked fine. Much better than lowering the subframe, etc. Thanks again for the suggestion!

I was worried about telling you I bent the pipe, because these things kink easily, and they don't give the hoses away. Glad you were able to get it done.
