He has the 4-cylinder (K24)engine.
Our 2003 4-cyl (manual tranny) has 60k miles & doesnt use oil either. Ive been going 6k to 7k miles for oil changes,& it uses less than 1/2 pint. I alsohave an oil analysis to show MINE is OK.
I will probably find an excuse to take a closer look at the timing chain tensioner soon.
