2003 Accord EX 2.4L EGR valve removal

2003 Accord EX 2.4L EGR valve removal

Hello,

What's the trick to removing the left side nut of the EGR valve? I can't get a socket or a wrench on the 12mm nut to loosen it.

I had the same problem on my 95 accord. You may need to get a swivel adapter to get the socket on there. I really messed up the bolt when I first did mine. There may not even be room for that.

Thanks PAhonda! I ended up using a 1/4in 12mm socket and a 1/4in. wobble socket extension. Snapped the long extension but fortunately the shorter extension worked.
