I have a very strange problem with the radio and heater control panel lights on my 2003 Accord LX. When I start the car and turn on the headlights, the lights on the left and right of the radio display, along with the lights for the heat and A/C do not come on right away. The strange part is that after I am driving for 5-10 minutes, they come on -- first dim, and then they brighten to the full brightness. The radio display in the center is not affected -- just the buttons around the display.

Does anyone have any idea what would cause this?
