Default 2003 Honda accord v6 ex- battery drain

I have a 2003 Honda accord v6 ex. The battery keeps dying. Jumped it off about 5 hours ago & it's dead again. When I open the door the dash lights come on & the ignition switch dings like the key is in. Please help if you can!

Are you sure the alternator is charging it? If so, then you'll be looking for some parasitic drain. Look for the easy stuff first, like a trunk lamp the doesn't turn off. Brake lamps stuck on?

Otherwise, it could be an alternator problem.

Did you have the battery tested? I agree with Jim the charging system and a draw are "in play" but I have to add a battery that can't hold a charge is in play as well. An '03, figure 5 years (avg life of a lead/acid battery), you are due for a third battery by the stat's.

Yeah, a battery that can't hold a charge is certainly possible.

What if you charge the battery then disconnect both cables? If the battery STILL goes dead, then it's positively a bad battery.
