Default 2003EX Doors won't unlock in hot weather.

My 2003 Accord EX doors will not unlock the car using the key fob after it has sat out in hot weather (nearly every day lately...) The actual door lock no longer works either, so the only way in is through the trunk which means making sure in advance that the back seat is down otherwise I have to wait overnight until the car has cooled off before the remote fob will unlock it. Please advise.

Is this a 4-door or 2-door accord?

FYI, your 03 accord should have a strap in the trunk you can pull to release the back seat to fold down. Your accord door should have a key hole to manually unlock from the driver's side. Does the mechanical door lock work?

This is a 4-Door Accord. The keyhole door lock stopped working before the remote key fob which leaves me with only the trunk to gain access on hot days if I lock the car. I also usually have to press down the driver's side door lock button to lock it, all the other doors lock with the remote key fob but not the driver's door. The door button only pops back up using the remote key fob if it is cool enough, usually overnight.

When you say the key hole doesn't work, does the key not turn the lock? On hot days, which lock/unlock switches on the doors work?

The key will not go into the door lock to either unlock or lock the door. On hot days, none of the four door locks open either from the inside or outside. From the inside the **** has to be manually pulled up to unlock the door or manually pushed down to lock it.
