2004 4-dr Honda Accord 4cyl Intake & Warranty Questons
So I have decided on getting an Injen intake for my 2004 4-dr Honda Accord 4cyl. Please provided insight on how good, reliable, power, etc. on Injen. Also if you suggest a different intake explain why it is better than Injen.
Also if I put a cold air intake on my car will it void my car's factory warranty.
Also what about water issues. Can water get into the intake, if so is there a way to prevent water getting into an cold air intake. Can I still drive in rain and the car wash?
I would appreciate any input on future projects.
Thank You

Injen is pretty damned good....and rare. Most users opt for AEM for unknown reasons. I opted for Injen due to the SRI AND CAI compatibility. I felt a gain of at least 3 hp and maybe +1 ft lb torque. Excellent pickup and midrange power...I easily go 110+ now. Mind you, I have done more mods than the intake, but Injen gets you off to a running start!
Water getting to the intake is much debated argument...but you will need to ford a river before the engine fails. If you still are unsure you can get a "Hydroshield" (actual product) or bypass valve. (both rob performance) Just use common sense and not DIRECTLY spray water to your underwell.
It will void the warranty so I suggest you drive it out so your warranty is up then change it.
