Default 2004 Accord LX 4DR i4

Hey all,

I've done a ton of research but have find conflicting answers.

I am trying to replace the wheels/tires of my Accord LX and do not know what offset to get.
I currently have 18" TSW Vortex chrome wheels but they rub pretty bad when I hit potholes, etc. I do not remember what offset I got at that time (a few years ago) but I am about to get new tires and thought I'd get some lighter alloy wheels to regain some acceleration and gas mileage. What do you guys suggest? I think I need +55mm offset and some 17" wheels but I am open to suggestions!

Thanks a ton guys.

Go to tirerack.com & put in your car's information. You should be able to see what offset they're suggesting with 18" wheels, so you can use that as a guide.
