^ Correct.

You should have stuck with the OEM Michelins man...I'm riding over 90k miles on them!

i never checked the car to see if the tires were oem michelins i would never have changed those out. but i think there is something wrong with the car it shouldnt be burning gas like this.....this has nothing to do with the topic but i think the acura tsx and honda accord interiors are interchangable, ive been looking at pics of the models rebadged in other countries and some accord bodys have tsx interiors and vice versa.. i thought that was pretty cool anyway im taking the car to the dealer for soem minor problems and ill ask about the gas mileage (even though theyll just tell me to change my driving habits)

Still haven't answered my question about how much rpm can I go up to and how long I should stay in the red zone?

Mine redlines at 6.25k. So how high can should I go or do I just go a little bit into the red zone like at 6.3k or 6.4k.

i would just hit a couple of on ramps and redline it in 1st and 2nd gears...and dont be afraid to do that again in the future from time to time.

So I should just put it in first and go just a little into the red zone then shift to 2nd and go a little into the red zone again? Also how bad is it if I go up to 6k rpm before shifting a couple times a week?

First off, super you do have a manual or auto? Second, what year/model/trim is your Accord?

tchemma, really? i guess the 4 banger has a higher redline (6500rpm)....ive been to 7k before....it just wouldnt get outta the high RPMs.....but it was a gratifying experience (new 0-100 time! )
