The airbag light comes on and stays on If I slouch even a little bit when starting the car. If i sit up straight and start the car the airbag warning light does not stay on.

Does anyone know what the issue could be? Probably the sensor? Honda wants $92 for diagnosis.

 

The seat belt buckle is probably your problem. The dealership shouldn't charge you to fix that, because seat belts are covered under lifetime warranty. If they charge you for diagnosis, you should get that money back. I don't think there are any sensors in the driver's seat, so it doesn't matter how you sit.

 

The airbag light comes on only when i Start the engine without wearing a seat belt.

If i wear a seat belt and turn on the engine the srs airbag light goes away.


Anyone know what this could be? Any help is greatly appreciated
