Default 2004 Honda Accord Roof Trim / Molding

I am buying a used 2004 Honda Accord EX. How can I repair the roof rubber molding? The rubber strips are coming off so the chrome is starting to show. Before I spend thousands at the dealer, what part is this? I am having a hard time finding any information. No YouTube videos on this repair at all that I can find. Also, the clear coat on the roof is gone and there are white spots. I'll have that repaired, I hope by a local Maaco not sure yet. I'm in California so, no leaks that I know of. Should I just buy something to cover it up? I saw this advertized on Amazon. Any advice would help. THanks

I'm moving this to the General Tech area where more people will probably respond. The "new member" area is mostly for welcome & introductions.

Check this out (active links prohibited but you can figure it out...)

There's other on-line parts dealers for you to choose from, & most (like this one) use the Honda part numbers.

The Amazon link you showed was kinda interesting - it might be a nice alternative to replacing the actual trim strip - and a lot cheaper, too. But I don't know how good it'll stick over time, and for all I know it might be just as good to use electrical tape & carefull trim with an X-acto knife. If you decide to use that, let us know if it works well.

Unfortunately I screwed up & deleted your link when I meant to just disable it from being active. But it looked like it was for 1998-2002 Accord which wouldn't fit your 2004.

The roof molding is held on with multiple retainer clips.
