Default 2004 Rocker Panel Removal

anyone have instructions on how to remove the rocker panels on a 4 door...I got as far as the 3 screws by the splash gaurd and 3 plastic trim screws underneath. It seems stuck probably has to be pryed but not sure how and where excatly.

This picture doesn't show much more than what you already said. Does it have to slide fore-aft to disengage anything??

You have to smack the whole thing forward. Remove the mentioned fasteners and push the whole piece of trim towards the front of the car.

I just bought some also. This looks like a fairly simple straight forward operation. Any comments on the above guidance?

Finshed this today in about 40 minutes...No big deal.....

1. Remove splash guard
2. With a substantial amount of force the panel must move forward toward the front of the car. Once you get the panel loose it will practically fall off the car. I had to use my foot to push the panel forward.
3. Remove existing body fasteners.
4. Install new panel by first aligning the panel at the splash guard then by the rear wheel.
5. Ensure all body fasteners are aligned and push in. You will hear/feel the fasteners lock in place.
6. Reinstall splash guard.
