2005 Accord 4-cylinder knock sensor connector
Hi there,
I was replacing the starter on the car and accidentally ripped the wire out from the knock sensor's connector. I was curious if anyone had a tip on a place to get a replacement wire with the connector or some other fix.
Thanks for your time

The metal part that is still in the plastic connector can be removed.
I remember seeing the pins for sale on older accord parts diagrams, where you would crimp a new pin on the wire and insert it into the plastic piece until it clicks. I'm not sure if other sites (possibly ebay?) would sell the proper sized pin.

So, I've encountered the exact same problem. How exactly did you get that pin out? I've been researching videos and forums but am not 100% sure which method I should use to remove the pin without damaging it. Your help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I also accidentally ripped out or broke the sub-wire coming out of the Knock sensor when changing the starter. I learned as you have to disconnect the knock sensor sub-wire first before removing the starter, and reconnecting it last after re-installing the starter. I did figure out how to take the pin out of the cap using a paperclip, but decided to use a much easier solution. Unlike the V6 Accord, the 4 cylinder sub-wire harness doesn't have a harness on the other end of the wire to simply plug in a new sub-wire into the positive terminal line. So after talking to my friend who is a mechanic he told me the easiest solution for 4 cylinder accords would be to be simply order a new V-6 sub-wire connector (part No. 30531-RCA-A01) for around 10 dollars and cut of the harness side off leaving the knock-sensor connector and the sub-wire connected. Then splice the wires of the broken wire on the positive terminal with the new wire and connector using a pink butt connector etc. I noticed Ebay also has sellers with new knock sensor connectors with a sub-wire to splice in as well. Simply search for something like "Honda/Acura K20/K24 Knock sensor."
Hope this helps someone and appreciate any feedback.
