Default 2005 accord steering pressure hose recall?

The hose on my 2005 accord v6 is starting to leak. It is the hose from the pump to rack and pinion. Was there a recall on that hose? It is leaking near the exhaust. Seems like I remember a hose recall because the hot exhaust was cooking the hose. Is that recall still in effect?

It was a safety recall; so, it generally it would still be in effect.

Yes, there is a recall on the high pressure hose. Mainly because it could drip on the exhaust and cause a fire. The replacement hoses have a bunch of insulation/shielding on them. I had replaced the hose on my 03 before the recall, so Honda reimbursed me for the hose. Bring the car to the nearest dealership, and they should change the hose free of charge.

Thanks for the info. This dealer is good at denying things so I have some leverage. Actually took it in this AM and they said I had a fuel pump relay update also. Now if I could get them to fix the air bag light. I have been spraying alcohol in the latch and getting it to go off for a while. But it has always been intermittent. Again THANKS
