Default Does anyone know what part this is?

Hello. I have a 1995 Honda Accord LX 2.2

And I noticed a vacuume line was off tonight and this part was really hot. I'm have an issue with it cold cranking fine, but once warm it doesn't.

Was wondering if this could be an issue?

Thanks

I don't think it should get hot, but it is in an engine bay towards the hood.

I don't know if it would cause a warm start issue. If your warm start issue is consistent, you can unplug that purge valve to see if the problem goes away.

If the purge valve is stuck OPEN, then yes it very well could cause a warm/hot start issue.

Depending on which hose was disconnected, problems even if the solenoid is OK.
