Default 2005 Acoord intake manifold "stay, in", important?

After doing my clutch, we forgot to fasten a bracket and after some researching, it seems to be the intake manifold "stay in", according to this diagram, (part #3) . It only looked to be holding in a wiring harness and some wires and want to make sure it's okay to leave it out or if it is necessary and to put it back in before any damage may be caused. The car is running fine so far but I just want to make sure if anyone knows what it does. Can't really find any info on what else it does and there aren't really any part descriptions on this little bracket. It is an 05 4cyl 5 speed, part number is 17132-rAA-A00. Thanks!

It should be reinstalled. It is an intake manifold support bracket.
