2005 Honda Accord LX 100K oil leak near timing cover
Hi all,
I have a 2005 Honda Accord LX, with the I4, at about 100K miles. It has recently developed an oil leak. It's a pretty small leak... so far. It looks to be at the timing chain cover, at either a bolt, or the timing chain seal.
I have attached some pictures - please let me know your thoughts. Specifically:
1. Known issue?
2. Level of effort for a DIYer? What are my options?
3. Cost to repair if I engage the dealer?
Thanks,
Josh

That may be a leak, but it is a very tiny leak. I would wait for more serious leakage before doing anything.
Leak appears to be at seam of timing chain cover and cover retaining bolt.
good luck
