2005 LX lazy starts
Hello all my Accordian friends...
I own a 2005 Honda Accord LX 4 cyl, I have replaced and tried: the altenator, spark plugs, battery, fuel injector cleaner, mid grade gasoline, new air filter, new starter. It starts like a typical Honda should when its been driven within a few hours, but once its parked overnight in cool or warm climate, it seems to struggle or as what u might call "lazy" start? I love my car and i want it to be perfect, so i am frustrated....any help or suggestions I would be very greatful
Jon

First place to start is to determine if battery voltage is declining due to bad battery or unknown drain. Easiest way is to purchase a battery monitor (Equus) from walmart, amazon, et al.
Note whether voltage when you attempt to start is < 12V before engaging starter. If yes, then battery may be faulty or there's a drain pulling battery voltage down when keyswitch is off; trunk light or glove box light are possibilities. New batteries have been known to be faulty, less likely but possible.
Also note when you're driving that battery charging voltage is usually 13.5-14 V. If below 13V, you may have a faulty alternator. Yes, I know you've replaced it.
Other possibilities are bad battery wires, bad connections, bad starter contacts.
good luck
