Default 2006 accord air cond problem

How do you run the diagnostics. Suddenly left vent putting out hot air , Right putting out mild to cool. Left almost feels like it is heater air. I have a code reader.

The common diy thread in the gen tech help section has a link to check hvac codes.

You should verify both radiator fans run and the a/c compressor clutch plate engages with the a/c pulley when you have those symptoms in your car.

Do you have an a/c manifold to test the high and low pressures in your system?

YES I have. a manifold and am going to co everything today. I know about the door motor. My 2005 had a bad one and cold on right and no cold on left. This thing ,I think is putting heater air out left side. It is flat hot. Anyway thanks for the answer. I will post what I find.

Confused with pressures. It was low, but hi enough to run compressor. Charged with 1 can. Cools fine now .(both fans running). Went to add another can but am confused by the hi side reading. It is at near 0. Added another can. hi side still reading near 0. During troubleshooting I saw the gauge go up when I opened both valves hi side read same as low side. I was expecting something like 275 on hi and 45 on low after second can. Hi side pipe is hot lo side pipe is cold. Running super cool in cab.. RECAP?? Why is hi side gauge reading so low? Edit,,, Maybe my qd on hi side is not connected properly. Going back to ck again

That was it. Whiz bang new connect valve was not connected on hi side. Got it connected and it read but little hi, so I drained some 134 out. NOW! after disconnecting whiz bang qd, I have a leak in the Schrader on the hi line. Off to town for a Schrader repair kit. Had a slow leak in one of those damn things on my 2002 dodge. Dodge worked on it 10 times and changed almost every component. I found it because I could see they stripped the plastic cap out. Repaired the Schrader 2 yrs ago perfect since. What ever was wrong with the old threaded connector with an internal shut off. Miss the good old days.
