Default 2006 Accord headlights stay on?

I would much prefer if I can always leave the headlights on, but my car's lights stay on if I leave the keys in. I want to leave the keys in because I park in my garage. Any ideas on what I can do? Is this a standard setting or can I change it?

Thanks everyone for the help!

You could take them out of the ignition and just leave them in your center consol???

Silly question,, but why would you want to leave the keys in the ignition switch , even if car is in the garage??

I wouldn't leave the keys in the ignition. I've parked my car with the key in the ignition, just sitting inside, and the door locks continuously activated the door locks to unlock the doors. I imagine that could wear the actuators out, and maybe run the battery down. If I want to leave the keys in the car now (at the car wash, for example), I put them on the passenger seat, or in the cup holder.
