Default 2006 Accord read squeaking sound

The car starting making a noise in the rear, I had my wife push down while I was under the car and it seems to be coming from the stabilizer on drivers side where the torsion bar attaches. It is really hard to verify though. Can these be lubed or do they need to be replaced. Can someone add additional help or where else the noise could come from?

I would think it's the springs making the noise. Is the stabilizer bushing still good?

I can't really tell, there is no visible damage. When I held the Rear Stabilizer Spring, I could feel the vibration/ tell the noise was coming from something connected to it and assumed since that attaches to the Rear Stabilizers that the noise was coming from the bushings.

The end-links have a couple small ball joints, those might be squeaking.

First you can rule out the anti-roll bar bushings by putting some silicone spray on them. It doesn't last too long for a permanent fix, but if that makes it quiet then you've located the problem. If that's it, try to work some silicone grease into them.

Jim. I've never seen end links squeak before have you. Just asking for my knowledge. I would say more than likely they are worn if they've never been changed.

I just changed my rears out last week on my 07 with 185k on the ticker. They weren't bad but why not since they don't cost much and while I was doing a front suspension refresh with calipers, brakes and rotors all around. All because one caliper was going bad. I need to be more frugal but I'm saving money doing it myself so why not.

Here is a video showing the endlinks can make noise.

PAhonda. I know the noise they make when they are bad I've just never heard them squeak. When I hear that same noise I know it's time to change them. My question is do they ever squeak when they are bad.

That is the noise but on the back. Do you have a diagram with parts descriptions? I'm not sure where the anti-roll bar bushings are.

Yup, the first time I ran into that noise was on my wife's Accord in the winter. It happened right before the end link came apart (a warning?) I've since replaced them with MOOG problem solvers, which get grease to keep them lubed. They've been fine for over 5 years now.
I'd suggest doing both ends of the car at the same time (they're fairly cheap on Rock Auto), that way you know they in the same condition, and need to get greased at the same time. Just a thought.

I guess I've never seen them that bad. I always change them when I hear a clunk going over bumps. In that video that's as extreme I've ever seen it. I have had to cut one off before due to too much rust but never breaking apart.
