Default 2006 Honda Accord EX Glovebox lock stuck

My daughter stuck our Pilot key into our Accord glovebox lock. She got it half way in a turned 1/4 turn and now it is stuck. How can I get it out without calling a locksmith? I've tried wd40 and brute force

Is the key still stuck inside? If the key is still stuck, try pulling/pushing the key while trying to turn it.

If the key is no longer in there or still in there; and remains locked, see if this thread may help you:

Key is still stuck and I have tried pulling/pushing while turning. Also sprayed wd40 with no luck. I was wondering if there was a "release" button perhaps on the back of the lock but I can't seem to access the back of the lock through the glovebox casing....can't figure out how to access

There's a video link in post #9 that I included in the above thread, see if that may make a difference.
