A slight hum from the front suspension started a month ago whenever the wheel is turned to the right (both slight turns and hard right turns). Last night when attempting to turn right the wheel would not go past 1 o'clock. I quickly spun the wheel left and then made the right turn. This happen twice more before I got home. Once home I sat inthe driveway and turn the wheel from 12 o'clock to 9 o'clock back to 12 o'clock and heard nothing. When turning the wheel from 12 o'clock to 3 o'clock and back to 12 o'clock there where 2 hard knocks. The Haynes manual mentions lack of fluid in the steering gear assembly, my gut is telling me the rack-n-pinion.

I also have a 2002 Accord with a 5 speed and had to replace the rack-n-pinion but the knocking sounds different this time.
