I picked up a '07 accord that has an NRG short hub with quick release wheel. The cruise controls from the stock wheel came with it but the previous owner never put them on with it as they never used cruise. However, I have some out of state travel coming up and would like to connect it somewhere if possible for the trip. Does anyone have a rundown they could link me to or offer some insight?
Thanks.
Looking for if it would even actually be possible to hook in the cruise control with the short hub I suppose. Would the hub need to be pulled off to get to the wiring harness to plug in the controls or is it below somewhere that I wouldn't need to pull it?
I took off the top cover to take a look. the plug at the top is the same as the connector attached to the stock cruise controls, but theres an extra smaller connector that seems it may also need to be plugged in? Tried unplugging the connector at the top of the hub and plugging in the cruise control. Didn't end up working, also didn't notice anything that had stopped working while that original plug in the picture was disconnected though which seemed odd. I put it back though after not being able to get the cruise control. So I'm still lost in how I could attach it.
