Default 2007 Accord Key Fob

I can't get into my 2007 Accord as none of the buttons (including the trunk and panic buttons) on either of the two key fobs is working (red LED light on the key fobs does turn on when a button is pushed).

Since both keys are not working, I don't think it's a problem with the battery in the key fobs.

Any ideas about what the problem is and if I can fix it myself? Thanks in advance for your help.

I'd replace the battery just to be sure.....the fact the light isn't coming on has something to do with the key and not the car.

There isn't a key slot on the drivers door? Hummm

If the batteries on the key fobs are the same age, there is a good chance they both up and quit at the same time; I too would recommend you try new batteries before digging further in.

So I called a tow truck - turns out the problem was that the car battery had died (due to my leaving the interior cabin light on - oops). He opened the door and gave me a boost and everything works fine now.

As for the key slot on the driver's side door - there is one - but the keys don't fit in there. The tow truck driver said that he suspects someone tried to break into the car at some point and ended up damaging it - and that I would need to get it replaced.

Thanks for your help!

Sounds like it's time for a quick trip to a lock smith to get your door rekeyed to match your ignition key.
