What procedure did you use to program them?

I hope you didn't throw the chips away that were inside the old fobs. That is what starts the car. You have to swap them to the new key fobs or go get the new ones programmed by a dealership/locksmith. You can only program the fob unless you have to tool to do it yourself. The key light should be showing.

You have two things to program (fob and key). The fob opens the doors. At the beginning of the key there's a chip to program also. That is what starts the car by being paired with the immobilizer. The video you watched showed you how to program the fob to unlock the doors. Take the chips out the old keys and place them in the new ones and you'll be fine
