i tried reprogramming my keyless entry with no success. maybe im doing it wrong. but how am i supposed to "aim the key" with it in the ignition?? speaking of aiming, where exactly am i supposed to aim?

The keyless receiver is built into the door multiplex control unit you replaced. The programming problem may just be with the sequence and timing.

The remote battery could be a possibility if everything else fails.
