Unhappy 2008 Accord: no radio

In trying to solve another problem, I pulled most of the fuses in my car to check them. Now, the radio doesn't turn on and there isn't even a clock display. This could be the theft protection kicking in, but would that prevent the clock from working too? If the answer is yes, I have no apparent way to retrieve the code that will get the radio working again. The dealer never provided a code for that. And they also did not provide a serial number for the radio unit. I checked everything I got from them. Is the situation hopeless?

Unhappy 2008 Accord: no key fob entry

After pulling some fuses to research another issue, I discovered that key fob entry no longer works. I tried the reset instructions suggested elsewhere and they had no effect. My take is that no power is going to that system. Is there a way to trouble-shoot and solve this?

Sometimes there is a sticker on the side (or somewhere) in the glove box with the code. There may be a card in the owner's manual, or possibly written down somewhere in the owner's manual.

Thanks for those suggestions. I have been all over the car, glove box included, looking for those numbers. No luck. And I have every document I got from the original purchase. No unlock code, no serial number for the radio. The dealer did not provide any of that.

You may want to call the dealer to see if they would provide the code.

There may be something in the owner's manual on how to get the serial number on the radio.

Merged another thread that might be related.

If the radio is not even "showing/asking" CODE or ERROR then the number isn't going to help...just my two cents. But then again we are assuming this is a factory set up on the radio.
