Default 2010 Accord lx upgrading to 2011 ex rims

I have a 2010 Honda accord lx and want to put 2012 ex rims on it. Does anyone know if I will have a problem with the tpms warning light in my dash. Would I have to put a 2010 tpms sensor on the 2012 wheels or are the 2012 wheels tpms work fine.
Thanks

Welcome to the forum. I moved your thread, please watch where you post help questions.

To answer your question, the TPMS sensors from your original wheels will have to be installed on the new wheels to avoid the TPMS warning light. If the new wheels require a different tire pressure threshold, the PCM will need to be adjusted for the new air pressure threshold. If not, no additional programing may be necessary.

If the 2012 wheels already have tires installed and you don't want to have to remount them, your car can be reprogrammed with the new TPMS sensor id numbers.
