Default 2010 Accord V6 excessive oil consumption

Hi. I'm new to this Forum - have a 2010 EX-L V-6 with 29,000 miles. Uses a quart of oil in approx 1500 miles. Dealer says this isn't a problem unless a quart in 1000 miles or less. We are using the dealer recommended oil - a syn blend 5W-20. Have changed oil at the 30% life , and add oil in between.

This particular car has a 100,000 powertrain warranty. should i just relax and let the warranty address this or should I get more aggressive with Honda Corp?

Does anyone else have this issue or would share experience on how to solve it?

I would be somewhat concerned and would insist on documenting this performance w/ Honda, so if things get worse you'll have a paper trail.

Suggest checking the PCV system for a blocked PCV hose or defective PCV valve.

good luck
