Default 2011 Honda Accord: Center Console Removal

I have a 2011 Honda Accord EX, and somehow ther driver's side center console panel got nicked and I saw on Honda's website that I can buy another center console panel, but I do not know how to take it apart. Does anyone know the removal procedure or how to change the panel?

The part number is: 83401-TA0-A01ZA

Well, here's a 2010 console. It's just a parts drawing, it doesn't really say how to dismantle things. But maybe it'll help.

It is best to get a service manual or search on the internet to see someone's DIY posts with images for removing the console. (The posts are out there though.) From images, you will see where the clips and hooks are.

But in general:
The center console panel (#12) needs to be removed, it is held in with clips and hooks. It might require a little prying too.

You have to then disconnect some electrical connectors (depending on what features the car has such as the accessory power socket and heated seats).

The driver side panel can then removed by removing a philips screw near the rear of the arm rest console box, then the side panel is slid forward to release the ribs of the panels from hooks of the box.
