Default Center Console removal

I've got a really bad dash-rattle coming from underneath the shift-selector (automatic transmission). Sounds like a loose screw is just rattling around in there. My question is how do you pull out the cover that goes around/underneath the shifter. Do you have to disassemble the shifter ****? or can you pull it off some other way?

This job isn't too bad. You'll have to remove the ****. I would suggest buying a Haynes manual. It will give you enoug information to guide you through the job.

do not remove the shifter ****,,,,,,,you got to remove the center console

there are screws on each side of the console , also inside the console , there is a cover, you need to pop it out with a small screwdriver, there are screws under that cover
