2012 honda accord
Hey guys my parents recently bought themselves a barely used automatic 2012 accord with only 11k miles on it.
The transmission computer feels terrible. I feel like the shift points are completely wrong. Shifting from 1st to 2nd is extremely sluggish and 2nd to 3rd is no better. It feels awful, like sitting in a manual car with someone who doesn't know how to drive stickshift.
I can't imagine that the transmission needs work because it has only 11k miles. It feels like a computer management issue. Can I reset the transmission computer myself?
I don't want to take it to our local honda dealer and pay $100 for them to just look at it.

You may want to call up the dealership and find out if the car is still under warranty.
I don't know of a way to reset the transmission computer. You can always stop by a parts store and find out if there are any codes stored on the computer.
