My key started acting up a couple weeks ago. The only button that seems to do anything on the key is the unlock button but when pressing unlock it actually locks the car, so it seems to be backwards. The trunk, lock, and panic buttons don't seem to be communicating with the car.

The door locks work fine when either unlocking them all manually by turning the key twice in the door and they work when pressing the lock/unlock button inside the car.

I thought it might be the fob, but I had a locksmith try to fix it and he couldn't seem to get anywhere even trying multiple new key fobs which tells me it's most likely the car itself.

Has anybody ever had this issue or have any idea how to fix it?
