Default 2013 Honda Wheel

I just bouth a 2013 Honda Accord EX-L V6 2 Door coupe and I when over the entire car and I found a nick on one of the wheels. I am pretty sure I didn't damage it on a curb because it is not on the edge of the rim and the nick is angled in the opposite direction if irt were from a curb. i have attached 2 photos. The car was only built last week and I only have about 70 miles on the car. Could it have come from the factory like this? Would the dealership replace the wheel?

Maybe you should have done this, before you bought the car. Maybe they will give you another wheel, maybe not. I would not let them try to repair the wheel at the dealership. If you can't get a new wheel, let it go.

If you have bought your car and they want your future business they should be willing to take care of it..See what they say .

Hard to say I'm guessing they don't do right by you but let us know.

The dealer wants to repair the wheel, but when they repair aluminum wheels they use fillers that do not last long term. In that case, I would probably be better off if it was legft alone. I can't beleive they won't replace the rim since the car is only two day old.

Even a brand new car is never perfect. If you look hard enough you could probably find more imperfections. It doesn't look bad enough to let the dealership try to repair it. Chances are, you will be the only one to ever notice it. I guess they didn't think the defect was large enough to warrant a new wheel.

If it was my car, I would push for a new wheel.

The car was "new", not used. You didn't buy used wheels and shouldn't have to accept a repair vs. a replacement. Sure you'll get more nicks down the road, but those occur while the car is in your possession. If they care about customer service, they'll spring for a new wheel.
